Overview

LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis) is a semi-quantitative tool which helps the user determine how robust and reliable the barriers between cause and consequence for high hazard process industries should be. Originally conceived and presented as a 2-day course in Singapore in 2017, it has been transformed into a 4 half day Distant Augmented Reality Training (DART):

  • Distant – Virtual and Trainer led
  • Augmented Reality – Applying the trainer’s recent knowledge (gained post-COVID) to make the attendee’s experience as close to their most recent physical training session as possible. Zooming ‘Back to the Future’ if you will!

To find out how DART feels, check out the following link – The DART Experience
